Speed Edit: Roots

Yesterday I was preparing my apartment to welcome a fellow photographer who is going to stay with me while she interns in New York.  As I was cleaning the normal things, I started taking on projects that have been pending for a while.  Hanging curtains, and changing burnt out light bulbs… then it hit me, I am spring cleaning!!! Spring is HERE!

Time for a happy spring edit!  This didn’t really turn out how I started.  It was originally going to be just the tree, but something else emerged all together.  All the images you see used in this composite where taken by me.  The flowers and the butterfly where taken at the Philadelphia Flower Show.  The trunk was taken while on my trip to Houston.  It reminds me of a hand painted tin type, very much like the art of Maggie Taylor.  This was a fun project for me, so I really hope you enjoy the video and feel free to share =)
